The George Mason University Fairfax Campus is located between Braddock Road, Chain Bridge Road, and Roberts Road in Fairfax Virginia, and caters to over 32,500 undergraduate and graduate students, making it one of the largest universities by head count in Virginia. Having gone there myself, I can tell you that it is also one of the nicest campuses, having recently undergone, and continuing to undergo, extensive renovation and expansion.
The newer buildings, like the recently renovated Thompson Hall, Science and Technology II, or the Recreation and Athletic Complex (RAC); a fitness center with three gymnasiums, racquetball courts, classrooms, and a two story fitness area; are state of the art, and provide new and improved areas for learning, studying, and general overall improvement. The Patriot Center and Sports Complexes also provide access to numerous sporting events, shows, and events, like the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
