What makes Pimmit Hills VA such a unique community? The old saying says “location, location, location”, and Pimmit Hills is prime. It is setup for possibly the best long term appreciation in my opinion in the Northern Virginia area.

First of all, Pimmit Hills is setup to directly benefit from the growth of Tysons Corner. Tysons is continuing to add to its list of extensive plans. Soon Tysons will be a walkable, liveable, and workable urban area! Right now residents in Northern Virginia are commuting to their jobs in Tysons. Fairfax County has plans to change all that.

Much like other “urbanized” areas in Northern Virginia, Tysons will feature almost exclusively apartments and some condos for sale. By 2050, there will be a huge increase in residential units in the area.

What does this mean for Pimmit Hills VA? First of all, it is one of the closest Single family communities to the Tysons Corner development. Secondly, it is run by a very active and fun Civic Association, but does not have a formal Home Owners Association with harsh restrictions on new builds. The lots are also mostly flat and square, ranging from around a quarter acre to around a third of an acre.

This makes it an ideal neighborhood to be redeveloped, and if you drive down a street in the Pimmit Hills VA, especially ones close to the metro, you will see the new homes popping up and being sold at record high prices. As more jobs open up in the Pimmit Hills VA, more families will move in and the values of the lots will go up.
